Join us November 6-9th in Carlsbad as Pinnacle hosts a 4-day phlebotomy course.
- Drawing blood
- Collecting specimens
- Preparing and processing specimens for laboratory testing and analysis
- Assembling and maintaining medical instruments such as needles, test tubes, blood vials and centrifuges.
- Gains the ability to work in a hospital, lab, blood bank, and more!
What will I learn?
In the Phlebotomy Technician program, you will learn:
- How to draw blood
- Put patients at ease during the blood drawing procedures
- Process specimens for testing
- How to verify a patient’s identity to ensure proper specimen labeling
- Correctly label drawn blood for testing/processing
- Enter patient information into a database.
